Molly is an experienced educator with over 20 years of working in education and has centered equity and social justice in all of her roles. In her current role at Seattle Central College, as the director of student support programs, she works to remove barriers for historically marginalized populations. Some of the specific populations she serves are; student veterans, students who are transitioning from incarceration, students transitioning from foster care, students with disabilities and student parents. Molly believes that when we work to address the the needs of students and families furthest from justice then we create learning environments that provide pathways for all students to thrive. She is a mom and community organizer who believes we must be accountable to the communities we serve. Molly has a Master’s degree in education from Antioch University and is the 2019 Washington State Association of College Trustees Equity Award.
